Welcome to the Welland Sport Tourism Alliance (WSTA)

Welcome! The Welland Sport Tourism Alliance works to bring sports groups, restaurants, hotels and other appropriate businesses together with the City of Welland to promote sport tourism, sport tourism development, and hosting services on behalf of partners and the entire community.

Play Works
Play Works recognizes community champions across Ontario that take steps to open doors to youth by reinvesting in youth play. In May 2008, The City of Welland was one of five cities in Ontario to receive this designation.

Play Works is a venture initiated by the Ontario Partnership for Active Youth, through the Ministry of Health Promotion and is a movement of interested parties committed to helping youth by encouraging and promoting a greater investment in youth play...more>
